2、 Scope of application and functions of sponge foam ball falling rebound tester:
It is suitable for measuring the springback property of soft polyurethane foam The springback tester of sponge foam plastic drops a steel ball with the diameter and mass specified in the standard on the foam plastic sample at the specified height, automatically calculates the percentage of the ratio of the zui height of the steel ball springback to the falling height of the steel ball (i.e. the springback rate), and shows the springback performance of the foam plastic with the springback rate. The falling ball springback tester for sponge foam plastic is controlled by a microprocessor, and the LCD screen displays Chinese operation. It has the characteristics of convenient operation, reliable performance, high measurement accuracy, and can print test data.

12. Experimental steps:
Place the adjusted sample horizontally on the test position of the rebound instrument, and make the drop height of the steel ball bottom from the fixed position to the foam plastic surface 460mm through adjustment. Fix the steel ball on the release device, and then make the steel ball fall freely. Perform three rebounds on each sample and take the maximum value from the three rebounds. Each rebound of the steel ball should fall onto the same position on the surface of the specimen, and the time interval between two rebounds should be controlled within 20 seconds. If the steel ball touches or pops out of the measuring device during the rebound process, the obtained data is invalid and needs to be re made.
