The sample tube vibrates up to 6000 times per minute, causing high-speed collisions between the grinding beads in the sample tube and between the grinding beads and the sample, achieving complete fragmentation and homogenization of the cell or tissue sample, facilitating subsequent extraction of nucleic acids, proteins, subcellular structures, or other organic components from the sample. While greatly improving the efficiency of laboratory work, it avoids the disadvantages of traditional methods such as manual grinding, mechanical homogenization, ultrasonic treatment, which have high labor intensity, poor effectiveness, poor reproducibility, and are prone to cross contamination.
