(1) Introduction to Pulsar Manufacturing Company

Since 1986, we have developed, manufactured, and sold industrial flow and level monitoring instruments, including ultrasonic level transmitters, clamp type ultrasonic flow meters, and open channel flow meters. By taking a step forward in echo processing technology, pulsar measurement has been able to solve applications previously thought to be beyond the range of ultrasonic liquid level measurement, and their improved initial signal processing at the transducer head makes it possible to increase resistance to electrical noise, thereby expanding the number of possible applications.

(2) AVFM6.1 Product Introduction

The AVFM6.1 area velocity flowmeter uses a submersible ultrasonic sensor to measure the liquid level and velocity of flowing liquids, in order to calculate flow measurements in open channels or pipelines. The sensor is installed inside the pipeline or at the bottom of the channel, and has the function of resisting dirt, corrosion, and wear. The AVFM 6.1 area velocity flowmeter can be configured with a standard underwater velocity level sensor or a combination of underwater velocity and a separate non-contact ultrasonic level sensor, suitable for high aeration fluids or fluids with high concentration suspended solids. AVFM 6.1 can measure forward flow velocities up to 6 meters per second (19.7 feet per second) and reverse flow velocities up to 1.5 meters per second (5 feet per second). Electronic and software samples and average flow continuously provide stable readings. Underwater velocity/liquid level sensors can measure the flow rate inside partially filled and attached pipes at pressures up to 10 psi. The minimum recommended diameter for AVFM 6.1 area velocity flow meters is 150 millimeters (5.9 inches).
