Damage to the filter bag. The shape of the filter bag and the installation method and mechanism of the filter bag determine the location where the filter bag is prone to damage, which can be used for inspection and maintenance. But the main reasons for the damage to the filter bag are as follows. If any damage occurs, please refer to the table below for inspection:
The aging of filter bags. Mainly caused by the following reasons, it is necessary to conduct a root cause investigation, take corrective measures, and replace the filter bag.
⑴ Hardening and shrinkage due to abnormal high temperature;
⑵ Due to reaction with vapors of acids, bases, or organic solvents;
⑶ Reacts with moisture
The filter cloth should not be hung too loose or too tight, as too loose can easily accumulate dust, and too tight can easily cause damage.
New and old filter bags should not be mixed to avoid different damage times affecting the normal operation of the equipment.
The replaced filter bag should be blown clean with compressed air first, and then checked for any holes. If there are holes, they should be repaired and left for replacement. If the filter bag is covered by dust, rinse it with water, let it dry, and leave it for replacement
