The PWS100 weather phenomenon meter is based on the principle of laser Doppler measurement and can automatically measure precipitation and visible meteorological factors. It can be widely used in places such as roads, seaports, and airports. By utilizing advanced detection technology and fuzzy algorithms, PWS100 can accurately measure the size of raindrops and precipitation velocity. After the CS215-PWS temperature and relative humidity sensors, the system can also measure temperature and relative humidity, making the measurement more accurate. It also provides standard particle type classification levels, such as rain, light rain, and snow.
The core of PWS100 weather phenomenon instrument consists of a data signal processing unit (DSP), a laser emitting end, and two receiving ends. One receiving end forms a 20 º angle with the transmitting end in the horizontal plane, while the other receiving end forms a 20 º angle with the transmitting section in the vertical plane. The system comes with an installation bracket, which allows users to easily install equipment. Its calibration is also very convenient. By using 22249 to calibrate it, the system can be calibrated on site.
The PWS100 weather phenomenon meter can output visibility and rainfall data in a format that complies with the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) meteorological code standards, making it convenient for users to perform data post-processing and further utilization.
