measuring principle
The tested water sample reacts with ammonium molybdate in an acidic medium and antimony salt to form phosphomolybdic acid, which is then immediately reduced by ascorbic acid to form a blue complex. Using the principle of photoelectric colorimetry to detect absorbance and calculate the concentration of total phosphorus in the water sample.
