Overview

At present, the physical and chemical methods used for online monitoring to determine chemical substances are all single indicators, which cannot fully reflect the additive, synergistic, and antagonistic effects of various effects in water bodies. Therefore, there are certain limitations in reflecting the comprehensive toxicity of water bodies. Monitoring the biological toxicity of water quality can truly reflect the comprehensive toxic effects of pollutants on the water environment. The water quality biotoxicity online monitor uses luminescent bacteria as the test organism to quickly respond to pollutants in the water. The instrument can be applied to the measurement of various water bodies and has high sensitivity to heavy metals, insecticides, disinfectants, herbicides, industrial chemicals, etc. The online monitoring instrument for water quality and biological toxicity can be used for daily monitoring of water bodies such as rivers, reservoirs, lakes, and drinking water sources, as well as early warning of sudden water pollution events.
