Leakage trace tester GB4207 standardMain technical parameters and functions
1. Using rectangular platinum electrodes, each electrode exerts a force of 1.0N ± 0.05N on the sample.
2. The voltage can be adjusted between 100~600V (48~60HZ), and the voltage drop should not exceed 10% when the short-circuit current is 1.0A ± 0.1A. When the short-circuit current is greater than 0.5A in the test circuit, the relay will operate for 2 seconds to cut off the current and indicate that the test sample is unqualified.
3. The droplet device can adjust the droplet height from 30~40mm and the droplet size from 44~55 drops/1cm3. The drip time can be adjusted at intervals of 30 seconds ± 5 seconds.
4. Dimensions: Width 1120mm, Depth 520mm, Height 1250mm
Leakage trace tester GB4207 standardreport
The report should include the following information:
a) Name of the tested material and any condition handling: b)
The thickness of the sample and the number of layers used to obtain the specified thickness;
c)
Untested original surface characteristics of the sample:
--Any cleaning process situation;
--Any machining situation, such as polishing;
--The painting condition of any sample surface.
d)
The surface condition before the experiment, considering surface defects such as scratches, dirt, impurities, etc;
e)
Cleaning procedures for electrodes and droppers;
f)
If the experiment is not conducted in an unventilated space, including approximate air flow velocity;
g)
Calibrate electrodes based on any known material properties;
h)
When the degree of corrosion is not required to be measured, the results of the resistance to electric trace index test are reported as follows:
Explain the type of solution used (solution B or solution C) and whether it passes or fails the test at the specified voltage.
For example, solution A, PTI175 passes through, or PTI175 fails
For example, solution B, PTI225M passes through, or PTI225M fails
For example, solution C, PTI175C passes through, or PTI175C fails
If it is required to determine the degree of corrosion, the results should be reported as follows:
Explain the type of solution used (solution B or solution C) and the maximum corrosion depth, and determine whether the test passes or fails at the specified voltage
Efficiency.
For example, solution A, PTI250-3 passes through, or PTI250-3 fails
For example, solution B, PTI375M-3 passes through, or PTI375M-3 fails
For example, solution C, PTI250C-3 passes through, or PTI250C-3 fails
If the sample burns and the degree of corrosion cannot be reported, it should be stated in the report.
If perforations are formed on the specimen, the information and depth of the holes (specimen thickness) should be reported.
If the test is invalid due to the generation of an arc, it should be reported.
Usage steps
(1) Installation and debugging
1. After unpacking, first remove the shockproof foam, adhesive tape, binding tape, etc., and place the test box horizontally.
2. Align the dropper needle so that the dropper can drip from the middle of the electrode.
3. Check if the fixing screws of the electrodes and weights are tightened. If they are loose, they should be recalibrated to 1.0 ± 0.5N according to the standard and the weights should be fixed.
(2) Experimental operation
1. Connect the power plug to the AC220V power supply. Press the 'power switch' and provide a regulated power supply.
1.1 Adjust the test voltage and short-circuit current. Close the door of the test chamber tightly, select a voltage level close to the test voltage, press the 100V to 600V button on the "Test Voltage Selection" screen, and adjust the "Voltage Adjustment" knob to achieve the desired voltage for the test. 1.2 First, adjust the "Current Adjustment" knob to the minimum, then press "Start Debugging Short Circuit Current" to adjust the "Current Adjustment" knob so that the ammeter indicates 1.0 ± 0.1A (when adjusting the short circuit current, do not press "Start Debugging Short Circuit Current" for more than 2 seconds, press and release it once, and observe the ammeter at the same time. If the short circuit current is greater than 0.5A, press the "Start Debugging Short Circuit Current" button for more than 2 seconds, the relay will act, and the electrode will be powered off. If the short circuit current is not adjusted properly at this time, press "Stop" to reset, restart and adjust again. After adjustment, press the "Stop" button to reset).
