The ammonia nitrogen composite electrode can directly measure the concentration of ammonia nitrogen in a solution, and is suitable for measuring the concentration of ammonia nitrogen in wine, beer, beverages, fertilizers, drinking water, natural water, domestic sewage, and industrial wastewater. Extreme output RS485 digital signal, compatible with RS485 MODBUS communication protocol.
Performance Characteristics
working principle
The ammonia nitrogen electrode is based on the reaction principle of ammonia nitrogen competing for free electrons with hydrogen ions in water for measurement. At a specific pH value, ammonia nitrogen is replaced by hydrogen ions (H+) in water molecules, forming ammonium ions (NH 4+) and releasing an electron. When the ammonia nitrogen electrode is placed in the sample, its surface is coated with a special material called a membrane layer. This membrane layer can selectively allow ammonia nitrogen to pass through and react with electrode media on the electrode surface, generating a current signal. By measuring the magnitude of the current signal, the concentration of ammonia nitrogen in the sample can be calculated.
