1. Purpose: To determine the sulfur dioxide content in traditional Chinese medicine using the "Sulfur Dioxide Determination" method in the 2015 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, Part Four.

2.JT-ST107-1PType of Traditional Chinese Medicine Sulfur Dioxide Analyzer (Standard)Technical requirements:

2.1 The traditional Chinese medicine sulfur dioxide analyzer should include the following units: heating control unit, built-in cooling water self circulation unit, nitrogen flow control unit, magnetic stirring control unit, timing control unit, and titration unit.

2.2 Heating control unit:

2.2.1 The heating device should use bowl shaped far-infrared ceramic vessels suitable for round bottom flasks, with high thermal radiation efficiency, low power consumption, and a single hole heating power of ≤ 500W; (Relevant supporting documents must be provided), the distillation unit should be no less than four groups;

2.2.2 The heating area must be equipped with insulation design to prevent heat loss and ensure uniform and stable heating of the sample;

2.2.3 The heating system should be designed with micro boiling and full boiling control modes, automatically controlling the heating rate according to different sample boiling points to ensure stable distillation experiments and controllable sample boiling phenomena;

2.4The host cooling system should have a built-in cooling water circulation system and be designed as an integrated system, without the need for external tap water or external cooling water machines;

2.5Nitrogen flow control unit:

2.5.1The host should be equipped with a general nitrogen interface for easy external nitrogen source connection, and an internal nitrogen pressure protection device should be installed to prevent pipeline leakage caused by overpressure overload;

2.5.2 Each distillation unit should have a single controllable nitrogen rotor flow meter to control the flow rate, with a flow control range of 60-600ml/min (the nitrogen flow meter needs to provide the manufacturer's measurement license certificate);

2.6 Magnetic stirring control unit: An independent built-in magnetic stirring device should be installed in the receiving area of each distillation unit, and the stirring speed can be adjusted by a knob.

2.7 Timing control unit: According to the pharmacopoeia method, each distillation unit should be equipped with an independent timing control device, which can set the working time to 0-200 minutes. After the working time is set, it will automatically count down, and the power can be automatically turned off when the timing ends;

2.8 Titration Unit: The host should be equipped with independent titration butterfly clips in each distillation unit to facilitate the fixation of the burette for titration.
