Overview
The handheld speed sensor is a battery powered digital portable optical tachometer that uses a Class 2 laser light source and can operate up to 25 feet * 8 meters away from the reflective target. The ergonomic design allows for safe and direct viewing of both the target and display, while providing a non slip rubber surface for one handed operation.
Product Details
Handheld speed sensorFeatures:

1. The output signal is proportional to the vibration velocity, which can be used in the field of vibration measurement for high, medium, and low frequencies.

The SZ series sensors have lower output impedance and better signal-to-noise ratio. There are no special requirements for output plugs and cables, making it easy to use.

3. The sensor design eliminates frictional moving elements, resulting in good flexibility and the ability to measure small vibrations (0.01mm).

4. The sensor has a certain resistance to lateral vibration (not greater than 10g peak value).

5. Can be used to measure the vibration of bearing seats, casings, or structures (absolute vibration relative to inertial space). Directly installed outside the machine, easy to use and maintain.

Handheld speed sensorPrecautions for use

1. The torque and speed sensor should be installed on a stable foundation to prevent significant vibration, otherwise it may cause unstable data, reduce measurement accuracy, or damage the equipment.

2. If the torque and speed sensor is far away from the equipment, a longer shielded cable should be used and the two cables should be of the same length.

3. During the use of the equipment, try not to have a large impact load, which usually occurs at the beginning or end of the test. If the start or stop is completed in an instant, the elastic bearing of the torque and speed sensor will be subjected to excessive torque due to inertia, resulting in damage. Therefore, it is necessary to minimize the inertia of the coupling as much as possible to effectively protect the equipment.

4. Changes in environmental temperature can cause measurement errors. Due to the fact that the elastic shaft modulus of the torque speed sensor is not a constant, it will change with temperature. When the temperature of the environment does not match the calibrated temperature, the coefficient value of the sensor needs to be corrected to ensure measurement accuracy.

5. If the direction of rotation of the shaft changes during the experiment, the zero point must be readjusted before the experiment can begin. When the current working speed is too low, start the small motor at the top of the torque speed sensor and make it rotate in the opposite direction to the rotation direction of the test shaft.
