Methods for maintenance and upkeep of explosion-proof fans:

2) The shaft power and pressure of a motor are directly proportional. To prevent long-term extreme pressure from increasing shaft power and overloading the motor, a pressure relief valve is often used. It is an unloading valve. When the operating pressure of the high-pressure fan exceeds the set pressure of the pressure relief valve, the pressure relief valve will automatically open to release the excess pressure and protect the motor of the high-pressure fan.

3) The internal mechanism of the high-pressure fan is relatively tight, with a small gap between the impeller and the casing, so it is necessary to filter out debris and dust. Usually, a fine filter screen/filter is installed at the air inlet. It often uses filters with different filtration accuracies according to different usage scenarios.

4) In some special occasions, special protection is also necessary: for example, when using in a sealed environment, attention should be paid to ventilation and heat dissipation; When the ambient temperature (intake temperature is relatively high), it is more important to pay attention to ventilation and heat dissipation, or choose explosion-proof fans that allow for higher intake temperatures.

Before installation, it is necessary to familiarize oneself with the various technical requirements in the manual, check whether the accompanying accessories are complete, and whether various technical documents are complete.

2. Conduct a preliminary inspection of the blower to ensure that there are no inorganic parts damaged during logistics transportation or long-term storage, whether there are any debris falling into the fan flow channel, and whether there is corrosion. Then use tools to rotate the fan spindle or the fan motor tail fan blades to see if the rotation is flexible and if there is any rubbing noise. Otherwise, the fault should be eliminated first.

3. According to the foundation diagram, the anchor bolts should be properly positioned. When installing the fan, the horizontal plane should be corrected to prevent excessive tilting.

4. The diameter of the pipeline should be slightly larger than the fan outlet diameter (the ratio of pipeline diameter to fan outlet diameter is 1.1:1), and the length of the pipeline should be shortened as much as possible. Elbows should be used sparingly, and the angle of the elbow should be greater than 90 degrees. It is not allowed to use right angle T-shaped joints. The joints of the pipeline should be tightly sealed and not leak, in order to reduce pressure loss. The weight of the pipeline shall not be supported by the fan, nor shall the fan be forcibly connected to the pipeline to prevent increased vibration and noise.
