Intelligent camera guided robot!
The new FQ-M series is a visual sensor designed specifically for retrieval and placement applications. It is equipped with embedded EtherCAT, which can be easily integrated in any environment. FQ-M is compact, fast, and includes incremental encoder inputs for easy tracking and calibration.
Omron's Sysmac Studio software is the * tool for configuring FQ-M, which works in conjunction with touch detector controllers for on-site monitoring.

Easy to set up and integrate
Integrating with machines will be effortless with intelligent wizards that utilize calibration and communication. FQ-M communicates with all devices through EtherCAT or standard Ethernet. The Communication Wizard allows for easy configuration of any robot protocol as a server or client without the need for complex programming.
Fast detection and high reliability
FQ-M can detect up to 32 items at once, exceeding 5000 items per minute. The new contour based retrieval algorithm ensures the highest reliability.
Instant tracking
Due to the FQ-M visual sensor's built-in encoder input that enables accurate conveyor tracking and easy calibration, synchronous operation is easier. FQ-M can output position coordinates and related encoder values and manage object queues, so it will not duplicate the coordinates of objects.
