By using unique alternating current waves, cells are arranged together in a fast two-dimensional electrophoresis, and then converted into direct current square waves within microseconds for cell fusion. After fusion, a brief alternating current pulse stabilizes the fusion state of heterozygous cells, greatly improving the efficiency of cell fusion.
