Overview

The C310 ammonia nitrogen water quality automatic analyzer is a product independently developed by Zhongxing Instrument (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., which measures the ammonia nitrogen content in water (surface water/sewage) based on the sodium salicylate colorimetric method. Under alkaline medium and catalyst conditions, ammonia nitrogen in the form of free ammonia or ammonium ions reacts with salicylates to form a colored complex. The analyzer converts it into ammonia nitrogen concentration value based on the color depth of the complex. The principle of the instrument method complies with the Chinese Ministry of Environmental Protection standard "Determination of Ammonia Nitrogen in Water Quality - Salicylic Acid spectrophotometric method" (HJ536-2009). Excessive calcium and magnesium ions, residual chlorine, or turbidity may interfere with the measurement. Due to the complexity of the on-site testing conditions, corresponding pre-treatment systems can be selected.
