This instrument is designed and manufactured according to the national standard GB7479-1987 for the determination of ammonium in water quality using Nessler's reagent colorimetric method and the technical requirements of the environmental protection industry standard HJ/T101-2003 for ammonia nitrogen water quality automatic analyzer. It has the characteristics of accurate measurement, low detection limit, high reliability, and strong adaptability, and is widely used in environmental protection, production monitoring, and other fields. It is an ideal instrument for environmental monitoring and control.

Detection principle:

The Nash reagent colorimetric method is used to measure ammonia nitrogen in water in the form of free ammonia or ammonium ions. When the alkalinity is strong, ammonia nitrogen mainly exists in the form of NH3. At this time, if the water sample is distilled, NH3 will overflow in the form of gas. The overflowing ammonia gas is collected in the colorimetric cell and measured by acid-base titration or Nessler's reagent method to obtain the corresponding ammonia nitrogen value.
