AADI FerryBox Multi Parameter Walking Observation System
Andra'sThe FerryBox system, named SOOGuard, can be installed on mobile vessels for long-term navigation based measurements of various parameters on the surface of water bodies. The data can be transmitted in real-time and displayed on a web browser.
Capable of measuring parameters including temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, chlorophyll CDOM、fDOM、 Turbidity, blue-green algae pCO2、 Oil in water, latitude and longitude, wind speed, wind direction, temperature, air pressure, relative humidity, visibility, rainfall, etc. It has the characteristics of high stability, low maintenance, and low operating costs.

Product Features:
Sensors have long-term stability
Easy to install, clean, and maintain
Can reconfigure the instrument
Data display based on web browser
Can meet the different needs of users/operators
The system is sturdy and durable, suitable for harsh environments
Real time communication and data transmission through cables or satellites
The SooGuard multi parameter navigation observation system was jointly developed by Andra and the UK National Oceanography Centre. The system design drew on the long-term installation experience of the UK National Oceanography Centre at P&O Ferry Company and was optimized. The system is easy to maintain and flexible in data collection, and can be used for long-term and large-scale scientific research data collection work at a very low cost with the help of commercial ships. The sensor of the system is installed in a flow cell with a pressure resistance of 10 bar for measurement, and data acquisition and transmission are carried out through SmartGuard data acquisition device. Standard measurement parameters: conductivity, dissolved oxygen, chlorophyll, water flow in the flow tube. Optional measurement parameters: CDOM, pH, turbidity, various third-party sensors (analog, RS-232/RS-422), GPS, other parameters required by users (customizable). The GPS data of the ship can be collected in real time through SmartGuard data acquisition device, and some other parameters provided by the ship itself can also be collected in real time through data acquisition device (such as ship meteorological parameters). SmartGuard is Andra's latest data acquisition device, which has low power consumption and can control 40 Andra or third-party sensors simultaneously using different signal standards. The Andra real-time communication and data demonstration software supports multiple communication methods such as USB, LAN/Ethernet, and serial port for real-time communication. The SmartGuard data logger is capable of storing, saving, sending data to data receiving stations, or directly viewing on-site when needed. The system status can be viewed directly in the engine room or displayed on the tablet selected by the user.
