This product can be used for fiber optic collimation or coupling focusing; For collimation purposes, it can be connected to single-mode or multi-mode optical fibers; If used for coupling focusing, it is limited to connecting multimode optical fibers (numerical aperture 0.22-0.37NA, core diameter ≥ 100 microns).

This product is a single lens, ultraviolet fused silica, spherical surface without coating; The wavelength range used is 185nm-2500nm.

After passing through the lens, the divergence angle of the light beam shall not exceed 2 °. It can adjust the beam field of view in UV-VIS or VIS-NIR applications. It can be adjusted from convergence to divergence (~45 °). It can connect multimode optical fibers with multiple connectors, which is easy to use

Technical Tips

This product uses a single lens to obtain a beam divergence angle (α) that satisfies tan (α)=d/f. Among them, f lens focal length, d is the slit width or fiber diameter.

Be careful when adjusting the collimating lens, as incorrect focusing of the lens can cause changes in the length of the sampling path.
