How to measure the accuracy of an electronic balance

  Industrial Control Summary:We need to comprehensively consider the compliance of technical indicators when measuring whether a balance is qualified. The electronic balance displays zero point when turned on, which does not indicate that the accuracy of the data measured by the balance meets the testing standards, but only indicates that the stability of the zero position of the balance is qualified. Due to prolonged storage time, relocation, environmental changes, or to obtain measurements, the balance should generally undergo calibration before use.

  
The external temperature in different seasons can cause deviations in the readings of electronic scales. Calibration can eliminate these deviations to the greatest extent possible. Calibration is divided into internal calibration (internal calibration) and external calibration (external calibration). External calibration refers to the use of standard instruments (weights) outside the balance to calibrate the balance, usually using full range (or near full range) and half range weights; Internal calibration refers to the installation of calibration weights inside the balance.
  
The units we often refer to, such as grams (g), kilograms (kg), tons (t), ounces (oz), etc., are mass units. The principle of electronic scales and electronic balances means that what is actually weighed is weight. G=mg, where G is weight, m is mass, and g is acceleration due to gravity.
  
The gravitational acceleration g varies with latitude and altitude, so electronic scales and scales may produce different values when crossing large latitudes. This requires calibration to eliminate the influence of the gravitational acceleration g on the mass m
