1. Adaptability to Environment and Media
   • Confirm that the monitor is suitable for the temperature and pressure range of the measured medium. For example, some models operate at temperatures ranging from -20 ℃ to 120 ℃ (optional up to 160 ℃), with working pressures up to PN 250 bar (MS material) or PN 300 bar (VA material).
   • If the medium contains gas or particulate matter, a gas separator or filter should be installed in front of the monitor to avoid measurement errors or blockages.
2. Installation location and pipeline requirements
   • vertical installationEnsure that the fluid flows through the monitor from bottom to top, with a straight pipe section of 5 times the instrument diameter at the inlet and outlet to reduce vortex interference.
   • avoid interferenceKeep away from bends, valves, and other locations that may affect fluid flow to prevent reading deviations.
   • Bypass designFor the convenience of maintenance, it is recommended to install a bypass pipeline to avoid downtime and maintenance affecting production.

2、 Operating standards

1. Start and Run
   • Slowly open the valvePrevent instantaneous airflow impact from damaging the turbine or sensor.
   • Preheating and condensing mediumIf the medium is a condensed liquid, preheat the monitor body to the upper cover before starting, and wait for the medium to become a working liquid before running.
   • Avoid reverse flowTurbine type monitors operating in reverse flow may damage equipment.
2. Parameter monitoring and adjustment
   • Regularly check whether the temperature, pressure, and flow rate are within the specified range, observe whether the pointer rotates and the pressure loss is stable, and whether the display instrument is normal.
   • Set parameters such as action flow value and reset flow value according to actual needs to ensure that the monitor operates accurately under set conditions.

3、 Maintenance and upkeep

1. Regular cleaning and inspection
   • Clean the filterRegularly clean or replace the filter according to the cleanliness of the medium to prevent particle blockage.
   • Check the sensor and floatIf the monitor adopts a float or turbine structure, its moving parts should be checked for wear or jamming, and if necessary, replaced and recalibrated.
   • Lubrication maintenanceAdd lubricating oil according to the requirements of the equipment bulletin board, and the frequency depends on the cleanliness of the gas (usually 2-3 times a year).
2. Corrosion resistance and sealing performance
   • If the medium is corrosive, it is necessary to choose a corrosion-resistant material (such as stainless steel) for the monitor and shorten the maintenance cycle.
   • Check whether the sealing ring is aged or damaged, ensuring no leakage.

4、 Security protection

1. Electrical safety
   • Ensure that the grounding resistance of the equipment is less than 4 Ω to avoid the risk of leakage.
   • Strictly follow the instructions when wiring to prevent signal abnormalities caused by incorrect connections or poor contact.
2. Explosion proof and Protection
   • If used in explosive hazardous areas, it is necessary to choose the EX version that complies with the ATEX directive and follow relevant operating procedures.
   • When operating high-temperature or high-pressure media, wear personal protective equipment such as insulated gloves and protective goggles.

5、 Fault handling

1. Common faults and solutions
   • Inaccurate readingsCheck if the pipeline is unobstructed, clean the measuring components or recalibrate.
   • Display screen unresponsiveCheck if the power cord is connected properly and replace the display screen component if necessary.
   • Unstable signalCheck if the electrical connections are loose, unplug the cables or replace the wiring terminals.
   • The flow meter is not functioningConfirm fluid flow in the pipeline, check if the sensor is damaged, and replace it if necessary.
2. Strictly prohibit operation
   • Prohibit the passage of sweeping steam through the monitor to avoid high temperature damage to the internal structure.
   • Do not open the back cover or modify internal parameters during operation, otherwise it may affect the normal operation of the device.
