Wuhuan has developed the MLJ1608 series of multilayer inductors that support low loss and high current, suitable for use as NFC coils, and has started mass production since April.
In recent years, with the high performance of smart mobile devices, tablets, and digital cameras, the number of electronic devices equipped with NFC circuits has gradually increased. In the NFC circuit, an LC filter circuit is installed between the control IC and the antenna, and the coil used here requires a narrow tolerance inductance with High-Q characteristics at a communication frequency of 13.56MHz. Moreover, due to the flow of AC signals of around 100-300mA during communication, stable characteristics need to be maintained even when powered on.
The MLJ1608 series uses newly developed low loss ferrite materials, which also achieve low loss characteristics higher than coils of the same shape when AC signals are energized. In addition, the overlap characteristics of ferrite materials have also been improved, ensuring the same characteristics as coiled coils when the current flowing through the NFC circuit is as high as 300mA. Of course, it also ensures the narrow tolerance of the inductor High-Q、 The magnetic shielding feature has become a product that meets all the characteristics required for NFC coils.
The inductance range has been expanded to 160nH to 560nH, and Wuhuan is also developing the MLJ1005 series inductors for low-power NFC-IC and miniaturization requirements.
