The method of engraving printed circuit boards with a knife: First, copy the designed printed circuit board base image onto a copper-clad board with carbon paper. Use a small knife to carve out unwanted copper foil. The carving steps are as follows: ① Carve out the outline of the circuit. Use the back end of a small knife to carve. *The knife should be light, the lines should be straight, and first make a mark. When engraving, do not apply too much force, otherwise one cut will be crooked and the next cut will easily slip out of the damaged area. ② Carve through the copper foil. At this point, use the back end of the knife to press down firmly and shake it slightly to the left and right, slowly thrusting the knife without pushing it straight forward. Otherwise, it is easy to damage the circuit board and also easy to injure the hand holding the circuit board. After engraving the copper foil at the line, you can remove the copper foil in the middle. When carving small pieces of copper foil that need to be preserved, be sure to carve slowly to avoid damaging the copper foil.
