The Nakanishi Air Float Spindle ABT-1000, also known as the Air Bearing Turbine Spindle, has an outer diameter of 40mm, a speed of 100000 revolutions per minute, an output power of 88W, and a runout accuracy of 1 μ m. The precision machined shaft and bearings suppress core runout and vibration, achieving high rotational accuracy. Due to the use of air floating and rotating shaft mechanisms, it has a longer lifespan than ball bearings. Currently available for semiconductor wafer cutting, semiconductor edge grinding machine polishing, and sapphire chamfering machine.
