One stop supplier of imported tools introduces you to imported level gauges

Classification of level instruments

A spirit level is used to measure small angles and is commonly used in the production process to check and adjust the horizontal or vertical position of machines or components, thereby enabling the inspection of their straightness or flatness.

We know that there are currently two commonly used types in the industry, namely bubble level and electronic level. The latter can be easily connected to a personal computer through an RS-232 adapter card.

Imported Spritlevels

The imported spirit level is a measuring instrument used to check whether the installation surface or flat plate of the machine is horizontal, and to measure the direction and angle of inclination. Its outer shape is made of high-grade steel material for the frame base. After precision processing, the base of the frame base must be flat, and the seat surface is equipped with a vertically long circular curved glass tube. There are also small horizontal glass tubes attached to the left end. The tube is filled with ether or alcohol, and there is a small bubble left, which is always located at a point in the tube. There are markings on both ends of the bubble on the glass cylinder. Usually, when installing machines in factories, the sensitivity of commonly used bubble level gauges is 0.02mm/m, 0.05mm/m, 0.1mm/m, etc., which means that the level gauge is placed on a 1-meter-long straight gauge or flat plate. When there is a difference in sensitivity indication size at one end point, such as a sensitivity of 0.01 mm/m, it means that there is a height difference of 0.02mm between the two ends of the straight gauge or flat plate (equivalent to a difference of 2 seconds between the two ends). When there is a height difference of 1 mm, the bubble will have a difference of one scale. The principle of a bubble level is to utilize the characteristic that bubbles can be kept in position frequently inside a glass tube

For a certain inclination angle, in order to increase the movement of bubbles (i.e., good sensitivity), it is necessary to increase the radius of the arc (R). If the distance between each scale of the level is 2 mm and the sensitivity is 0.01 mm/m, the difference between the two endpoints of 1 meter is equivalent to 2 seconds. The bubble tube has a radius of 206.185 meters and is installed within the frame. Different sensitivities have different radii, which are not directly related to the length of the frame.

When using an imported level, it should be checked first. Place the level on a flat plate, read the scale size of the bubble, then invert the level and place it in the same position, and then read its scale size. If the readings are the same, it means that the relationship between the level base and the bubble tube is correct. Otherwise, it is necessary to adjust the screw until the readings are the same before starting the measurement work. If you want to check the accuracy of the level, you can use a known angle size composed of a sine rod and a measuring block. At the same time, it can also be used in conjunction with a sine rod and a level to measure larger tilt angles.
