Principles for selecting steam trap valves

① If it is required that the pipeline equipment has the fastest heating speed, strict temperature control, and cannot accumulate condensed water in the heating equipment, a mechanical drain valve that can discharge saturated water should be selected;

② If the heating equipment has a large heating area and does not require heating as soon as possible, the heating temperature requirement is not strict, and a certain amount of condensed water can be required to be accumulated, a thermal static type drain valve should be selected;

③ According to the amount of drainage of the equipment used, the selection of a drain valve must consider the safety factor;

④ The drain valve determines the drainage volume based on the pressure difference.
