1. Pay attention to the correct direction when opening and closing the valve

The opening and closing of valves have a fixed direction, usually counterclockwise indicates opening the valve, while clockwise indicates closing the valve. If manual operation of the valve electric actuator is required, then everyone must pay attention to opening or closing the valve in the correct direction when operating.

2. Be careful not to use tools for operation

Due to the fact that the handwheel, handle, and other operating components on the valve are designed by normal human labor, when manually operating the valve electric actuator, attention should also be paid to operating it directly by hand, rather than using tools such as levers or long wrenches to open or close the valve, in order to avoid damage caused by excessive force. In addition, when the handwheel is fully opened, it is also important to reverse it slightly to ensure that the threads are tightly connected to prevent loosening and damage.

3. Pay attention to marking properly

If the handwheel of the valve electric actuator is used for limiting, it should be in the predetermined position. During maintenance, pay attention to using a ruler and marker to mark the fully open and fully closed positions first, so as to avoid the vertex when fully open. In addition, operators should pay attention to loosening the handwheel lock nut before manually operating the valve electric actuator. After the operation is completed, unless otherwise specified, the handwheel must be opened and locked with the lock nut.
