Five tips for dealing with external leakage of electric control valves
Method 1: Add sealing grease method; This method is aimed at valve bodies that have not yet used sealing grease, and adding sealing grease can be considered to improve the sealing performance of the valve stem. Adding sealing grease is also a necessary maintenance procedure for the electric control valve during daily maintenance.
Method 2: Change the flow direction and place P2 at the valve stem end; When Δ P is large and P1 is also large, sealing P1 is obviously more difficult than sealing P2 Therefore, the electric control valve can adopt the method of changing the flow direction, changing P1 at the valve stem end to P2 at the valve stem end, which is more effective for valves with high pressure and large pressure difference For bellows valves, P2 sealing should usually be considered.
Method 3: Adopt lens gasket sealing method; For the sealing of the upper and lower covers, the sealing between the valve seat and the upper and lower valve bodies If it is a flat seal, the sealing performance is poor under high temperature and pressure, causing leakage. An electric control valve lens gasket can be used for sealing, which can achieve satisfactory results.
Method four, adding filler method; Usually, double-layer or multi-layer mixed packing is used to simply increase the number of sealing gaskets, such as increasing 3 to 5, to improve the sealing performance of the valve stem. However, the leakage prevention effect of electric regulating valves is not very obvious.
Method five is to replace the graphite packing method; The widely used four * * packing is suitable for working temperatures ranging from -20 to 200 ℃. When the working temperature changes significantly between the upper and lower limits, the sealing performance of the electric control valve decreases significantly, and it ages quickly with a short lifespan. It is recommended to use flexible graphite fillers here to overcome the difficulties that four * * fillers cannot bear, and to have a long service life, thereby improving the reliability of the seal. Many factories have already replaced all four * * fillers with graphite fillers, and even newly purchased regulating valves have replaced their four * * fillers with graphite fillers before use. However, graphite fillers also have a disadvantage, which is large backlash and initial crawling phenomenon. Manufacturers and users should also consider this when designing and installing electric regulating valve equipment.
The above is the solution to the leakage phenomenon of electric control valves. If you want to learn more about electric control valve consultation, you can continue with other content.
