Omron Group released two products, the NX series "NX701" and the NJ series "NJ101", on April 1, 2015, expanding the lineup of machine automation controllers as the core of the "Sysmac Automation Platform" (hereinafter referred to as Sysmac).

After the launch of "NX701" and "NJ101" in the market, Omron provides a wide range of solutions from production systems to universal control equipment.

As a platform for FA machines, Sysmac quickly applies technologies in the field of information and communication technology (ICT), creates various application functions through software, closely connects FA machines with 3D simulation and other design planning support, and provides a new manufacturing environment for the industry.

The newly released "NX701" is the flagship model of machine automation controller, equipped with In ® CoreTMThe i7 processor (quad core) has the industry's fastest computing performance and large capacity memory, while also possessing the reliability of industrial controllers. By utilizing IoT and testing the highly growing production sites of the future, we aim to surpass the construction of traditional controllers such as PLCs and develop comprehensive controllers that meet the needs of all users for freely expanding functions.

NJ101 "is an entry-level machine automation controller model with simplified hardware performance, capable of applying all application functions and solutions of" Sysmac "to existing production equipment and general-purpose devices.

In recent years, the manufacturing environment has undergone significant changes such as marketization and short-term product cycles, and the challenges it faces have become more complex and diverse. In this context, the move to innovate the manufacturing industry has expanded to include the use of IoT and big data ICT applications in production sites. Omron has developed FA machines centered around "Sysmac" to meet the changing demands of the manufacturing industry, enriching the services and engineering technical support needed by the industry.

Since the launch of the NJ series "NJ501" by Omron in 2011, it has been equipped with application engines such as Database connectivity and robot control, while expanding the variety of peripheral products, including high-speed I/O products, drivers, security products, image processing sensors, etc. The application cases of temperature control and vibration suppression control have increased, creating * solutions with the spirit of daring to challenge new manufacturing, which have always been loved by equipment manufacturers.

It is the flagship model of NX, combining the industry's fastest computing performance with 260MB of large variable capacity. Suitable for high-speed and high-precision control of large-scale systems with up to 256 axes.
