Digital display meter is an electronic instrument used for output, which is currently applied in various industries. Because its output data is * * and clear at a glance, it has replaced pointer instruments in many occasions. From the electronic clocks in our homes to the output data boards used in factories, precise digital outputs are provided for both time management and production control, replacing analog quantities with digital ones. So far, there is no unified concept for digital displays, but their understanding is mostly the same. As the name suggests, it should be an instrument that outputs numbers or letters.

In a broad sense, the large screen digital traffic signal timing signs that can be seen everywhere on the streets, train number signs at stations, factory CNC output meters, etc. are all considered as digital display meters. Currently, digital display meters are generally connected to computers, PLCs, and other devices for use. It has a wide range of applications, from satellite monitoring data to electronic watches on the wrist. It can be said that in modern society, its presence is everywhere, and its structure is not very uniform. As needed, its shape and size will also change. Generally, it is a rectangular watch head with a watch body.

1、 The digital display does not output

Reason for malfunction:

1. Is the power cord properly connected. 2. Is the power switch closed. 3. Is the power supply voltage appropriate. 4. The internal power supply of the grating ruler is short circuited. 5. Whether the fuse is blown.

troubleshooting

1. Check the power cord and then turn on the power. 2. Close the power switch. 3. The power supply voltage should be between 100V and 250V. 4. Disconnect the grating ruler connector. 5. Check and replace the fuse.

2、 The shell of the digital display meter is charged

Reason: 1. Whether the machine tool and digital display meter housing are well grounded. Is there any ground leakage in the 2.220V power supply.

Exclusion: 1. The casing of machine tools and digital displays should be well grounded. 2. Check the 220V power supply.

3、 The digital display meter does not calculate one axis

Reason: 1. Is it still not calculated after adjusting the grating ruler with another axis. When the digital display is in a special function.

Exclusion: 1. If the calculation is normal, it is a fault with the grating ruler; If the calculation is still abnormal, it is a malfunction of the digital display. 2. Exit the special function.

4、 The calculation of the digital display meter is inaccurate (error), and the output operation distance does not match the actual distance

Reason: 1. Whether the machine tool and digital display meter housing are well grounded. 2. The precision of the machine tool equipment itself is poor. 3. The operating speed of the machine tool equipment is too fast. 4. The installation of the grating ruler does not meet the requirements and the accuracy is insufficient. 5. The resolution of the digital display does not match the grating ruler. 6. The operation size unit does not match the metric/imperial output. 7. Improper setting of linear error compensation for digital display meter. 8. The grating ruler exceeds the length range and the reading head is damaged. 9. The screws securing the reading head or ruler body are loose.

Exclusion: 1. The casing of machine tools and digital displays should be well grounded. 2. Repair machine tool equipment. 3. Reduce the operating speed of machine tool equipment. 4. Reinstall the grating ruler as required. 5. Reset the resolution of the digital display. 6. Convert metric/imperial output. 7. Reset the linear error compensation of the digital display. 8. Adjust the installation, repair or replace the machine tool or grating ruler. 9. Tighten all fixing screws.
