With the continuous development of computer technology, communication technology, and fault diagnosis technology, the demand for equipment fault diagnosis is constantly increasing, gradually forming a remote diagnosis method that integrates these technologies for equipment fault diagnosis. As a complex interdisciplinary system involving numerous research fields, it is highly valued by researchers and governments around the world, and significant funding is invested in conducting research on fundamental theories and applied products. In recent years, with the gradual improvement of various supporting technologies, remote fault diagnosis has been gradually applied in multiple fields including thermal power generation.
DCSAs the most important control system in thermal power plants, equipping a remote diagnosis and collaboration system will be an inevitable trend for future development. With more than 20 years of rich experience in automation and information technology in thermal power plants, Keyuan Corporation has developed and built an NT6000 remote diagnosis and collaboration system, which is designed for the NT6000 distributed control system developed and produced by Keyuan Corporation to achieve remote diagnosis and collaboration. This system creates a safe and secure production space for NT6000 users, eliminating their concerns about possible equipment abnormalities and malfunctions, ensuring the long-term stable and reliable operation of NT6000.
NT6000 Remote Diagnosis and Collaboration System of Keyuan CorporationIt is mainly divided into two parts: remote diagnosis and remote collaboration.
The remote diagnosis system consists of several parts, including a remote data collection and transmission unit (client), a data communication service unit (server), a real-time database, a data analysis and diagnosis system, and data display and publishing.

Data Analysis and Diagnostic System:Provide necessary collaborative work environment for equipment experts to achieve remote diagnosis, mainly including remote monitoring, online operation support, and information services.
Remote monitoring:Online access to the operating status and fault information of on-site equipment, such as the outputs of data acquisition units and monitoring units, equipment operating status and self diagnostic information displayed on on-site control terminals, as well as CNC programs and other various control programs.
Remote control:Equipment experts can directly obtain device control through the network, and remotely operate and debug on-site equipment online through a virtual operation panel.
Information service:Through methods such as meetings, shared whiteboards, and online image and sound transmission, online communication between equipment experts, as well as between experts and on-site staff, can be achieved to jointly analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot faults.

DCS systems distributed in different regions establish communication with the Science and Technology Remote Diagnosis Center through GPRS, 3G, and broadband via the Internet to achieve remote diagnosis.
NT6000The biggest feature of the remote fault diagnosis system is the geographical separation between the NT6000 distributed control system and the remote diagnosis center. The remote diagnosis center providing services is connected to the NT6000 being diagnosed through a network, forming an organic logical whole. This has given new features to the form of remote diagnostic centers providing fault diagnosis services for NT6000: on the one hand, the same remote diagnostic center can provide diagnostic services for multiple sets of NT6000 in different regions, ensuring that these NT6000 can all work normally; On the other hand, a set of NT6000 diagnostic tasks can be decomposed into sub problems of different fault domains, and multiple remote diagnostic centers can be used for diagnosis. Finally, these diagnostic results can be integrated to obtain more accurate diagnostic conclusions, improving the diagnostic ability of the NT6000 remote fault diagnosis system for NT600 * problems.
The remote collaboration system consists of an RDS client, an isolated gateway, and an RDV server.
RDSclientA PC with RDS software installed on the internal network is connected to the network through SyncKeeper3000 isolated gateway to ensure the security of internal and external network communication.
RDVserver-side: The external network (which can be one end of the power plant and can be connected to the Internet, or the other end of the power plant Internet) is a PC installed with RDV software, which communicates with RDS software through RDV software to remotely monitor the RDS client. An RDV server can connect to multiple isolated gateways, each of which can connect to 8 RDS clients.

The main functions of the remote collaboration system include automatic online access, remote monitoring, remote control, file transfer, etc.
Automatic online: The client actively connects to the server and displays real-time status information on the server, determining whether to allow subsequent operations based on the status.
Remote monitoring: When the client goes online and the connection password entered by the server is correct, establish a monitoring screen with the client, capture screen data from the client and transmit it to the server for display.
Remote control: When the client allows controlled operations and the control password is entered correctly, the server remotely operates the client screen through actions such as mouse and keyboard.
File transfer: Download the file to be transferred from the client to the server.
Through various detection, analysis, and judgment methods of remote diagnosis, combined with factors such as the historical situation, current status, and usage environment of NT6000, timely detection of NT6000 status, correct diagnosis of various abnormalities or faults, necessary guidance for equipment operation, prevention or elimination of faults, improving the safety, reliability, and economy of NT6000 operation, or reducing the losses caused by faults to the lowest level possible.
Fully utilize the maximum design capability of the equipment, or develop a reasonable maintenance plan based on fault indications, to ensure that the potential of the equipment is fully exploited without failure. This implementation allows diagnostic experts to access fault diagnosis sites remotely through the network, enabling quick and convenient remote intelligent fault diagnosis of diagnostic objects, which has significant practical significance.
Due to the industrial demand for preventive maintenance technology, the research focus in the field of fault diagnosis has gradually shifted towards condition monitoring, preventive maintenance, and early fault diagnosis, laying a solid foundation for the implementation of intelligent maintenance technology. In the future, research and application of remote diagnosis and collaboration systems will involve various intelligent maintenance fields.
