1、 Core objective overview: This test directly simulates common liquid intrusion scenarios in outdoor or harsh industrial environments, with the goal of not only "not getting water in", but also ensuring that the product's functionality, safety, and durability meet design standards under various water threats. Several specific purposes of rain waterproof testing:

1. Verify protection level: Benchmarking IP level: This is the most direct purpose. Confirm whether the protection level of the joystick meets its claimed level through standardized testing (such as IEC 60529 standard), for example:

(1) IPX4 (splash proof): Splashing water from any direction has no harmful effects. Suitable for indoor and outdoor equipment that may be cleaned or exposed to rain;
