Attention to filter replacement: Filter replacement can only be carried out by personnel familiar with the filter function.
When replacing components, appropriate protective clothing (goggles, gloves, safety shoes) must be worn.
Attention: Check the maintenance indicator light on the side of the running filter. The switch lever points to the side of the deactivated filter. Therefore, before repairing the filter, it is necessary to switch the filter, and then the signal of the maintenance indicator light will go out, and the red button can be pressed again
1. Operate the pressure compensation valve and keep it in the toggle lever. Rotate the toggle lever. Lock the lock. Place it under a water bucket or drip tray to collect leaking engine oil.
2. Loosen the vent screw on the filter side, which has been deactivated for 2-3 turns. Maximum stop pin.
3. Rotate the filter housing clockwise, unscrew it, and clean it in a suitable medium. Attention: From now on, do not operate the switch lever until the filter housing is screwed back (7)!
4. Move slightly back and forth downwards to remove the filter element.
5. Check if the O-ring on the filter housing is damaged. If necessary, it should be updated.
6. Check if the order number on the replacement component matches the order number on the filter nameplate.
7. Gently lubricate the threads of the filter housing and then screw it into the filter head. The maximum tightening torque for NG 50 to 110.30 Nm and NG 150 to 600.50 Nm.
To fill the filter chamber, simply press the pressure equalization rod until the medium leaves the vent without any bubbles.
9. Tighten the ventilation screw. Press the pressure compensation rod again to check the sealing of the filter.
Other precautions: When installing the filter, care must be taken to ensure that the required disassembly height is reached in order to remove the filter element and filter housing. It is best to install the filter with the filter housing facing downwards. The maintenance indicator should be clearly visible.
