Kugel und Rollenlagerwerk Leipzig GmbH (KRW) originated from the "Deutsche Kugellagerfabrik GmbH" (DKF) founded in 1904. To this day, KRW Leipzig still focuses on developing, producing, and distributing rolling bearing products with the "Made in Germany" logo within its scope.

A Brief History of KRW Bearing Brand Development
KRW company was established in 1934 at a factory named "Deutsche Kugellagerfabrik GmbH." KRW won the first victory over Lufthansa for only equipping their provided anti friction bearings on their aircraft with high-quality products. Our products include thrust bearings, radial bearings, four point bearings, and special bearings.

In 1942, the number of employees in the company reached 1500. After the end of World War II, the company continued to operate under the name SAG Corporation. During this period, a series of automatically calibrated rolling bearings were developed.
From 1955 to 1990, the company grew into the world's largest company under the name DKF W ä lzlagerwerk Leipzig.
In 1990, East and West Germany merged, and the company merged with FAG Group, which is now a brand under the Schaeffler Group.
In 1993, after a successful merger, the company was re established under the name Kugel und Rollenlagerwerk Leipzig GmbH. Departure from FAG Group.
